About the conference

Date and Time: November 21, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: IU Kokomo

Deadline to submit abstracts: Friday, November 7, 2025

The Indiana University Undergraduate Research Conference (IUURC) was established in 1994 to promote undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in partnership with faculty or other mentors in any field of study. Undergraduate researchers from all nine Indiana University campuses deliver oral or poster presentations. A distinguished speaker is also invited to focus on a topic of interest to all undergraduate researchers.

This annual statewide conference celebrates and promotes undergraduate research, scholarly and creative achievement, professional development, and lifelong learning. By presenting at the IUURC, student researchers meet the important challenge of communicating the knowledge and insights they have gained in such professional settings as laboratory benches, archaeological digs, libraries, museums, and studios.

The IUURC would not be possible without the commitment of the faculty members and staff researchers who work tirelessly to mentor undergraduate students who are learning to explore their disciplines.
